What a SWEET guy Eddie IS! - (He must be somewhere right now ... Where is he?) Like singing that song about a little black bug ... Who would do that? Elvis never did, The Beatles didn't ... Buddy never did. And that Weekend song. A song about: isn't it great, staying out late, I mean JUST to STAY OUT LATE, to drive around with the top down with friends, and to enjoy the view at Lookout Hill, the view from there is sure to thrill (!), and how he took a chance, tried to crash a dance, almost got in the place when somebody slammed the door in his face (he laughed as he sang "slammed"), Hey you guys, you've got to were ties on the weekend, No harm done, just having some fun on the weekend. Obviously he was not into the macho mean bravado of most guys. I mean to tell the bouncer, No harm done, just having some fun on the weekend, it's all light, kind, and gentle. A sweet guy! And then to even say, "That was ALL, we had a big ball on the weekend." And how perfectly he did those cuddly cute sounds he makes in that song about smoochin' and huggin' in the very last row of the balcony. Sure, things were different in the fifties, but he LOVED it for what it was, and then he captured it in his songs like NO ONE ELSE! He's the BEST! And what condifence and authority he had for a guy so young!! AMAZING. To think he was just getting started. How things would have been different had he lived. Imagine him and Buddy Holly throughout the sixties, seventies, and beyond!
I am searching for a CD:
Eddie Cochran and Gary Lambert
"Guitar Pickin' Rarities"
Have you ever heard of it or know where to get a copy?
E.C. RULES!
TVB
Hi to Antoon and Eddie Cochran fans worlwide. On March 31st 2007, Connie 'Guybo' Smith, the legendary bass man who played bass on many of Eddie's hit records, will be on stage performing with Glen Glenn at the spring Chippenham Eddie Cochran Weekender 2007.
For info please see:

Hi Tim,
Unfortunately I haven't heard that cd but Sunjay is a Swedish record company. So I think best way to get it is to find it in some Swedish second hand record store (or try their internet sites).
You're right: E.C. RULES!
hi tim i have the cd guitar pickin rarities get your adress here and i send you a copy sylvain
i love all the oldies and have discovered im related to terry dene and would love to get in touch can anyone help? best wishes sue
I've got the Sunjay CD and that's not Eddie Cochran playing on it. There's a reason why Rockstar records didn't release these recordings. They don't think it's Eddie either. Either Gary Lambert's memory of who played on those recordings is affected by age or he's telling a tale to get his name associated again with Eddie's (like he did by telling people he owned Eddie's 6120 before he did).
The CD has some great guitar picking on it, but sadly, that's not Eddie. And everyone I know who's a musician who knows Eddie's playing in and out feels the same way.
I tend to agree that eddie aint on this disc its not the same as the chuck foreman tapes wich are proof in themselves! chat and banter everywhwere and in between songs at such an early age.Gary Id say its you on this disc not eddie shame on you!
While im at it Ill say this about Guitar Blues. Im positive its Eddie cos he jammed with b.b king and lowell fulson listen to there styles there the same! also I just have A feeling he could have played the drums on this also.(Desmodave)
Who knows where to download XRumer 5.0 Palladium?
Help, please. All recommend this program to effectively advertise on the Internet, this is the best program!
"Summertime Blues" by Sharon Sheeley hits the bookstores on June 30, 2010.

richpush blog.
